Bodysuit crocheted from Sinfonia sport weight cotton yarn (100g=200m). Chained crochet fishnet, ribbed knitted trim, stockinette knitted crotch piece.

Worked in tubes for seamless construction, and designed to fit the body precisely.

With the yarn lacking stretch, the diamond mesh varies in size to create the desired girth for each part of the body.

A zipper closure was set into the back onto a crocheted strip.

Ankles, wrists, and neckline feature a ribbed knitted piece to allow for stretch in those regions, expanding to allow the wearer to don the garment, and contracting to maintain the proper girth of the mesh to display desired diamond pattern.

Detailed planning, patterning, and measurements. Diamonds of varying size were drafted and measured by height, width, and side length in order to prepare a pattern consisting of fishnet that changes girth to match the body's measurements and maintain its uniform diamond pattern.

Each area of body was measured in girth inch by inch for the entire length in order to achieve optimal fit and minimal diamond pattern distortion. Precise modifications were made to accommodate the body's shape and protect the design's image and structural integrity.

Features a knitted crotch-piece for comfort and flexibility.

Though constricted by the mesh, the body can move mostly uninhibited.

Shown here with jeans, intended to be multipurpose: worn as a decorative undergarment, as a base for loose-fitting clothing or adornments to attach to the body, or on its own.
